Wates hires new land director to boost portfolio

Wates Developments has appointed a land director to increase its land portfolio across the South of England. Matthew Tunley has joined the business from developer CEG. He will manage the land team, based in the group's Surrey headquarters, to identify and secure new land opportunities to be brought forward through the planning system. Mr Tunley has more than 15 years of experience as a qualified town planner and has worked in housebuilding and land promotion companies.
