Putzmeister stationary concrete pumps were used to construct a main section of the 12.8km in Vienna, Austria. Austrian rail specialist OBBInfrastruktur Bau commissioned contracting consortium LT 31, which consists of contractors Hochtief, Alpine Bau and Beton- und Monierbau. The companies installed a permanent concrete delivery line measuring between 300m and 1.4km from the concrete mixing plant at the construction site directly to the placement site.
