Brian Pert is very enthusiastic about Cargill's new investment in Australia. "Over the past few years, Australia and New Zealand have become significant areas of investment for many of our customers, such as those in the confectionery and dairy industry, producing not only for local distribution but also for export to Asia Pacific and beyond." This is the main reason the company has recently opened two offices for texturising sales in the region. This way, according to Pert, the teams will be on hand with products tailored to the needs of the Australian and New Zealand markets. "There is great potential for confectionery since the arrival of large manufacturers such as Nestle, Cadbury and Mars in the region. By opening two offices, in two major regional cities - Sydney and Melbourne - we offer extensive coverage."
