Irish rugby is at an all-time high and with success on the field, the demand for world-class stadiums and facilities is only fitting.rnThe recently completed Thomond Park is home to Munster and has become an iconic part of the Limerick skyline. The stadium, with a total capacity of 25,756 patrons, consists of 15,132 seated, 10,400 standing and provides facilities for up to 112 disabled patrons. Initially designed as a steel-frame structure, Banagher Concrete offered an alternative concrete-frame design, with columns, rakers, vomitory walls, terracing etc, being manufactured off-site and providing a high-quality finish throughout. The proposal was enthusiastically accepted by the design team and the project was delivered on time and within budget.
