Chevrolet combatted the daunting challenges of Depression-wracked 1933 with a two-pronged attack. The first charge was mounted by a new Series CA Eagle line. Larger, more powerful, and better appointed than the 1932 Confederate BA models, Eagles also brought streamlined styling to the brand. Three months later, a smaller and lower-priced Series CC Standard "quality economy car" joined the battle. It would encourage even the most budget-conscious new-car buyers to see their Chevrolet dealer first in 1933.
