Why are you sending your customers to Best Buy for photo printers and to Kinko's for scanning? When it comes to digital scrapbooking, the disconnect between retailers and consumers is being exploited by online message boards and scrapbooking Web sites. Many scrappers use sites like www.twopeasinabucket.com to download fonts, or sites like www.ofoto.com to upload and print photos. Additionally, "digital challenges" are urging customers to get comfortable using and manipulating their digital photography and fonts. One real example from a Web site: "This week, we're challenging you to use your STROKE feature. Just think of it as an outline. You can adjust the pixel width and outline any color. Very fun and handy! Here, I've used the stroke feature around my photos and the 'm' monogram."
