HSE GUIDANCE HELPS OUTLINE KEY SAFETY ISSUES

While guidance on health and safety issues can be specific to the waste management industry and those working in local government, two recent issues, promoted by the Health and Safety Commission, are expected to be of general interest. One concerns the "top end" of a business, or organisation, in that guidance has recently been published as to how health and safety should be treated in annual reports. While currently this is aimed at larger companies, the HSC intends to put it for use to all companies, voluntary groups and the public sector.
