It's easy to miss the little Avant compact wheeled loaders because they're so...well, compact. But as a tool ideal for waste and recycling applications, the bright green machines can hold their own. Although agricultural is one of the key UK markets for Avant, the new "R-Series" should do well in our sector too. The R28 and R35 models features a rigid articulation joint, Kubota diesels (21 and 28kW respectively) and four-wheel drive hydrostatic transmissions. The unique teleboom on the larger R35 gives a maximum lift height of up to 2 820mm, too.
