The authors present a new architecture that, for a second-ordernband-pass filter operating in current-mode, allows one to modify thenquality factor without changing its center frequency f0. Thisnis obtained by adding an auxiliary current-mode amplifier to the initialnconfiguration of the filter. The resultant value of the Q-factor dependsnon the gain of this amplifier. SPICE simulation and experimentalnresults, obtained from current-mode filters previously described, arengiven to confirm the theoretical analysis
