Three Fresh Users Located for Zhongxian-Wuhan Gas Pipeline

PetroChina signed natrual gas sales and supply contracts with three cities in Central China's Hunan Province for the natural gas pipeline from Zhongxian in Chongqing to Wuhan in Hubei in late October. The contracts are based on the "take-or-pay" clauses, the international convention for natural gas pipeline. Under the contracts signed with Changde City, Yiyang City and Hengyang City, the gas consumption in the three cities will reach 130 million cubic meters in the first year and exceed 300 million cubic meters in the fifth year when the pipeline is put into operation.
