Updating of K-0.4-type medium-pressure air-fractionating installation (AFI) built by Kislorodmash, which is in operation at the Omsk Autogenous (Gas) Plant, is described. Promising AFI updating schemes for increasing liquid oxygen yield are given. Some updating alternatives are compared. The salient results of the updating are reported.
