摘要

A series of hexaarylbenzenes having two peripheral thienyliron substituents has been prepared, and it is revealed that the two metal centres communicate with each other through toroidal delocalization among the peripheral aromatic groups.Electron or hole delocalization over 3-dimensional (3D) organic framework has attracted increasing attention not only from the viewpoint of understanding the mechanism of the intriguing phenomenon but also from the viewpoint of application to molecular devices.
