Toffee Box, Anastasia Chocolates acquired by BBX Sweet Holdings

BBX Sweet Holdings went on a coast-to-coast shopping spree last month, snatching up a toffee maker on the West Coast and a Floridian specialty confectionery company on the East Coast. The wholly-owned subsidiary of BBX Capital Corporation acquired the assets of The Toffee Box, LLC on Oct. 8, 2014. A week earlier the company also acquired Anastasia Confections, Inc. The Toffee Box, headquartered in Carlsbad near San Diego, Calif., is known for its award-winning handcrafted toffee, which is made with all-natural ingredients and no added preservatives.
