Back From The Snowy Wastes...

It seems strange to be writing to my own magazine, but there's a good turn that shouldn't go unmentioned. Back in snowy early February I was riding, pushing and occasionally carrying my bike up the Grand Union towpath in search of some seasonal photographs. Itrnwasn't until I left the canal after several miles that I suddenly realised I'd lost my smaller camera somewhere. Cursing my carelessness, I resigned myself to having to buy a replacement and losing my photos. But to my surprise, an email arrived a few days later from IWA HeadrnOffice. Someone had found the camera (in the snow!), discovered some photos of canal restoration on the memory card, and thought to contact IWA. So my grateful thanks to the finder Ben Barker - and to Jenny Black at IWA for working out who it belonged to.
