journey to Leeds. The colonnaded Albert Dock with its shops, restaurants and Tate Liverpool art gallery provides a splendid new terminus for the canal. There is so much more to the city than the football clubs and the Beatles: it would be a shame not to stay a while and enjoy the sights before we set off.
