The present invention relates to an LEED building performance evaluation system through BIM connection and a method thereof. More specifically, according to the present invention relates to an LEED building performance evaluation system through BIM connection and a method thereof, an existing building information modeling (BIM) database (DB) is used to automate the leadership in energy & environment design (LEED), which is an evaluation certification for an environmentally friendly green building, based on a rule defined by a user from a perspective of use case to automatically perform the other LEED evaluation items than the evaluation items that must be performed by a person through manual work; an LEED evaluation result is automatically calculated, and the efficiency of LEED evaluation is increased, thereby a more precise, objective evaluation is carried out. According to the present invention, the LEED building performance evaluation system comprises: an input unit; a processing unit; a storage unit; and an output unit.
