I would love to say I have completed the lining and it all looks fantastic, but I haven't... The patch I removed last month has been glaring reproachfully at me ever since, pointing out at every opportunity that it has no insulation, battens or lining.rnEvery time I see it I wonder whether I should teach myself to weld, or whether I was being too harsh about glue. Indeed, I have been so overcome with the trauma this single patch has been causing that I applied the ultimate solution; I installed a hook and hung my coats over it.rnWhile this didn't solve the problem it did divert my attention to the rest of the lining. 1 solved that distraction by painting one of the walls grey. This makes it look better, but I can't decide whether I have convinced myself the painted wall is in good condition because it is, or because I can't face taking it down.
