Glue - it's not to be sniffed at., but it is highly inflammable and, apparently, some young people enjoy the effects its fumes can produce. So, given that I was going to be fitting a lot of new silver-backed insulation, 1 felt a holiday away from the boat after a massive glueing session might be wise. For once, the preparations were flawless. I let the fire go out, put on work clothes and thermals (it was going to be oh-so-cold...), lined up an array of rubber gloves and spatulas for applying the glue and put on a face mask (no, don't even be tempted...).
