1 What first attracted you to the waterways? I grew up by the Thames at Abingdon and my grandmother lived in Oxford and would take me for walks along the Oxford Canal, which then still had working boats 2 Which is your favourite canal or waterway? I don't really have one but these are high on my list: Kennet & Avon, Grand Union, Shropshire Union, Staffs & Worcs, southern Oxford, the Thames.
