Soft-drink powerhouse PepsiCo, Inc. says it has completed the development of the world's first plastic PET (polyethylene terephthlate) beverage bottle made entirely form plant-based, fully-renewable resources, including various agricultural byproducts such as orange and potato peels and oat hulls, as well as bio-based raw materials like switch grass, pine bark and corn husks.
