Demand pops for Pepsi green bond

pepsico used the strength of its credit profile to wave off criticisms over the level of disclosures in its inaugural green bond that priced last week with strong investor backing. The US$1bn 30-year green bond will be used to fund sustainable development projects including investments in sustainable plastics and packaging, decarbonising its supply chain, and water sustainability, according to the SEC filing.
