John Beard, who spent decades at L.A.'s KNBC and then KTTV, now anchors WGRZ's morning and midday news. Chief meteorologist Kevin O'Connell was at KNBC, KABC and KCBS during the 1980s-he succeeded a young weatherman named Pat Sajak at KNBC-while Niagara Falls native Maria Genero anchored at KABC, along with stations in New York and Miami.
