Read Between the Lines

I'm a big believer in reading. The irony is that it's not my favorite thing. But I begrudgingly do it because I feel it's a great way to educate yourself, not to mention expand your vocabulary. I started thinking about books that are must-reads in the collision repair industry. One I came up with that you most likely are familiar with is "The Toyota Way" by Jeffrey Liker and Gary Convis. If you've ever been to a lean production seminar in this industry, you may have received a copy. It sums up Toyota's lean production model of doing business that has led to great success and can be applied to body shops.
