I have had a love for the ocean my entire life. Last year we did one week of charter in the Bahamas and loved the experience. Luckily, the stars aligned and we now have a 112ft Westport, which is the perfect size for our family. My wife, Katie, and I have two sons, Camden, 10, and Aiden, 12, and we felt it was the perfect age for us to share our love of the ocean and sea life with them. The joy on their faces when we take them fishing or out on the jet skis gives us special memories. Our sons are adventurers; they were with us snorkeling with sea lions in the Galapagos and we have taken them to many places in the world. The Exumas has become our special place, the water is beautiful but the Bahamas' focus on marine conservation, especially regarding sharks, is really important to me.
