摘要

Tired eyes, pallid complexion, Osamu Tezuka hunches over his drawing board in an anonymous Tokyo apartment. Nobody is permitted into this sanctum, lest they disturb his flow. He draws endlessly, breaking for occasional naps on the thinly carpetedrnfloor, or simply letting his head sag on to his desk with fatigue. Similarly, across town, his assistants sleep under tables as they work around the clock to complete the master's storyboards.
