BIMCO in Shanghai - towards an international shipping centre by 2020

To mark the first anniversary of the Chinese State Council's announcement on 25 March 2009 to develop Shanghai towards becoming an international shipping centre by 2020, the President of BIMCO, Mr. Robert Lorenz-Meyer, accompanied by the Secretary General, joined international guests at the Shanghai International Shipping Forum.rnThe event was organised by The Ministry of Transport of the People's Republic of China and the Shanghai Municipal Government and co-organised by Shanghai Urban and Rural Construction and Transportation Commission, Hongkou District Government, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and Shanghai Maritime University.
