NBAD launches yen bonds

National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD) has launched the Middle East's first samurai bond.The state-controlled bank issued a 15-year YlObn ($126m) yen-dominated bond as it seeks to diversify its funding sources and reduce risk. Mistubishi UFJ Morgan Stanley Securities and HSBC Securities Japan were the joint lead managers of the bond.
