Meeting planners and hotel executives have become two of the most lucrative audiences for marketers looking to break into or deepen their involvement with the hospitality and travel industry. According to Meetings & Conventions, the core group of U.S.-based corporate, association and incentive meeting planners totals more than 70,000 professionals. These planners are responsible for nearly $50 billion in annual sales, 90 million meeting attendees and more than 1 million total meetings.
