Toyota has developed a car seat fabric for allergy sufferers. An agent on the fibres envelops the allergens formed from dead dust mites and their droppings. Mite allergens are a common cause of allergies. They accumulate on car seats and when they get into the air can make driving uncomfortable or even unsafe, if a fit of sneezes occurs at speed.
