The present invention relates to an anti-dust mite mattress. In particular the invention provides a whole block fibre mattress core, a pre-made microporous encasement cover which is a physical dust mite barrier that utilises a zip system with a flap covering it that can be permanently sealed using a double sided adhesive tape. The advantage of the invention is the prevention of dust mites from entering the core of the mattress via the permanently taped and sealed zip system. The innovative microporous encasement covered mattress with a zip system that can be permanently covered and sealed is designed to be a non-chemical physical dust mite prevention method that stops them from entering the mattress core in the first place while also being an easier and more practical method for assembly ofmattress.
