The Federation Internationale des Societes d'Ingenieurs des Techniques de 1'Automobile - FISITA - was founded in Paris in 1948 to bring together engineers from around the world in a spirit of cooperation to share ideas and advance the development of the automobile. Today FISITA provides a forum for dialogue between engineers, industry, government, academia, and environmental and standards organisations, It's a vibrant and passionate group, comprising member societies and companies, and representing more than 200,000 engineers.
