Protecting our unique natural environment

During the recent debate on the Australian Constitution we were urged to be mindful of our responsibility to protect our unique natural environment. Active debate at recent industry meetings highlighted both willingness and reluctance on the part of those present to address this issue. Questions arose including extending environmental controls to encompass substances contributing to global warming and encouraging the substitution of organic and natural substances for synthetic products. Quality of workmanship and installation techniques currently employed by technicians and system designers were also discussed.
