10 Years of Phasing Out Nuclear Power, 10 Years of Decommissioning, Dismantling and Transformation: How the Nuclear Power Segment of EnBW Has Successfully Reinvented Itself

Introduction The tenth anniversary of the reactor accident in Fukushima and the unexpected shutting down of nuclear power plants in Germany was an occasion for reflection, for the management of the EnBW nuclear power segment as well: on the time ten years ago, on the changes initiated back then, and on everything which has been achieved in the meantime right up to today. From this general perspective, the results make us proud in hindsight. Who would have thought at that time that the nuclear power segment of EnBW would achieve such a complete transformation in these ten years?
