Linking Architecture and Education: Sustainable Design for Learning Environments

The author of the book, Professor Anne Taylor, is Regents Professor in Architecture and Director of the Institute for Environmental Education at the School of Architecture and Planning, University of New Mexico, USA. She is a well-known interdisciplinary author with training in both architecture and education who has worked in academic departments of both architecture and education. She has also spent many years researching, designing and consulting on different types of learning environments including school classrooms, children's museums, art galleries and playgrounds. She has developed what she terms a holistic, sustainable philosophy of environment design for learning as a merging of art, education, philosophy and architecture.
