We bring new three-dimensional (3D) concept of polymer surface–relief Bragg grating (SR–BG) prepared on the high pillars. The Bragg grating parameters were theoretically proposed and the all structure was designed in 3D graphics. SR–BG was prepared in single–step process by 3D laser lithography based on direct writing process in IP–Dip polymer. Main advantage of such arrangement is direct optical fiber coupling in the waveguide with SR-BG. From the transmission measurements we confirmed Bragg wavelength at 1543 nm.
