Speaker with Lunch Tagged as JSM Social Highlight

HPSS has a packed program for this year's JSM, including sessions and luncheons. All are invited to attend the Section business meeting and social on Monday from 5:30 p.m.-7:00 p.m. in the Spruce Room of the Sheraton. This year, HPSS is the primary sponsor of two invited, three topic-contributed, and four contributed sessions, in addition to posters, several luncheons, and a student awards session. The annual Student Paper Award session (Tuesday 8:30 a.m.) has been a terrific opportunity to learn about new work by young researchers entering our field. Topics of this year's winners include anchoring vignettes to understand self-reported disability, hierarchical and joint site-edge methods, capture-recapture methods for estimating disease subpopulation sizes in the presence of cross-classification, profiling methods, and nonparametric methods for cost-effectiveness analysis.
