10 years ago,Michael Nesbit, partner and chief of operations for Conroe, Tex.-based Nesbit's Cleaners, has the formula for what it takes to nab the "Best Plant Design" accolade: an all-drive-thru plant. Nesbit's newest endeavor has awarded his company with the recognition in American Dry cleaner's 42nd Plant Design Awards. Operating much like a bank, the plant has three drive-thru lanes equipped with an audio system for communication between service reps and clients, while vacuum tubes are installed to handle payments.
