We've started another new column, Test Kitchen, where we plan to 'shop test' certain ingredients, tools and products with experienced cake artists, bakers, chocolatiers and other sugar art professionals. Our first installment kicks off with a cake by Ted Scutti and Adam Starkey of Sugar Sugar Cake Studio in Phoenix, AZ.
