Drawing inspiration from sculptures, photography, paintings, and theater; a new, innovative niche has emerged in the sugar universe which continues to evolve as new techniques and technologies are opened up to us. These edible showpieces have become edible art, as easily enjoyed as walking through an art gallery sipping wine. Likewise, collaborations have become social media events; with the collective being memorialized into special edition books, magazines and digital art galleries. It is an exciting time in which the rest of the world is taking notice; not only seeing us as bakers, decorators, designers, and chefs - but as the artists we have always been.
