Welcome for EU air conditioner ecodesign rules

Newly published ecodesign rules for air conditioners are likely to save 24 million tonnes of carbon dioxide (CO_2) per year in the EU, according to a Brussels-based business organisation. The European Partnership for Energy and the Environment (EPEE) has welcomed the ecodesign requirements for air conditioners and comfort fans published in the EU's Official Journal as Regulation 206/2012.
