Europe implements Ecodesign laws for air conditioners

All air conditioners of 12kW or under are to fall within EU's Ecodesign requirements from the beginning of next year. The announcement follows the publication in March of the regulation setting out the Ecodesign requirements for air conditioners and comfort fans on the Official Journal of the European Union. The requirements were endorsed by Member States at the end of May last year.
