DUXFORD'S 'AIRSPACE' TAKES SHAPE

Air International was recently granted access to preview the progress of the Imperial War Museum Duxford's £25 million 'AirSpace' project in the transformed Hangar 1, once known as the 'Superhangar'. Supported by a £9 million grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund and £995,000 from the East of England Development Agency, the aim is to tell the story of Britain and Commonwealth aviation.
