New Flying Classroom For Cranfield University

THE CRANFIELD University's National Flying Laboratory Centre (NFLC) has acquired a Saab 340B turboprop, SE-LRF (c 340B-456), to replace its ageing British Aerospace Jetstream 31 as a flying classroom. The university announced the acquisition on December 9, after spending a year fundraising a replacement for Jetstream 31, G-NFLA (c 637), which has operated from Cranfield's Global Research Airport in Bedfordshire since January 2003.
