French technical cooperation agency Expertise France is to send several advisers to Kenya before the end of the year to help apply the security provisions of the Go Blue project. The project, which was set up in 2018 under the Kenyan government's partnership with the European Union, aims to help Kenya develop its maritime "blue" economy, notably by strengthening coastal security and regional cooperation. Expertise France will have the job of coordinating the project for two years by maintaining links between technical advisers and local maritime services, particularly the coast guards.
