MOZAMBIQUE SET OF ENI TALENTS BRANCH OUT TO START UP OWN CONSULTANCY BUSINESS

A group of young managers at Italy’sENI has decided to broaden theirhorizon and found their own consultancyfirm Mozambique Petrosolutions& Consulting. According toour sources, they will continue towork for ENI alongside their newadventure. A multi-disciplinary firm,which aims to provide hydrocarbonsexploration, drilling, production andlogistics advice, has 11 shareholders,most of whom work for ENI EastAfrica. The chairman of the new firm’sboard of directors, Alberto CossaJunior, who previously worked forHalliburton, is in charge of contractsand cost control at ENI in Mozambique.He is joined by the group’sreservoir geologist Celso XadrequeVilanculos, appointed technicaldirector of the new entity, and ENIpermit advisor Ivan Bento Juga,named financial administrator.Other Mozambique Petrosolutionsmembers include AdilsonJoaquim Massingue, an importexportspecialist on the Rovumagas basin, operated by the Italiangroup, as well as his reservoirspecialist colleagues BenildoRaimondo Balate and FranciscoEsperanca. They are joined bygeologists Francisco AurelioCongolo, Lopes Tangune andFrancisco Ferreira Meque. Agraduate of ENI’s professionaluniversity in Milan, the EnglishspeakingGilberto AdelinoSemente has also joined theteam. Semente clocked in experienceas a liquefied natural gas(LNG) production engineer for thegroup in Indonesia and is currentlyoperations manager.
