Freshly painted in its original markings, Martin B-57B Canberra 52-1499 was rolled out at the National Museum of the US Air Force at Dayton, Ohio, USA, in January. The combat veteran was operated by the 8th Bomb Squadron at Phan Rang, South Vietnam. It was subsequently modified to EB-57B electronic countermeasures configuration, and the restoration team has converted it back to bomber specification, removing all the EB-57 antennae and equipment and reinstalling the bomb bay.
