Professions For Good (P4G), an umbrella group set up to promote and represent the professions, is also coordinating professional body responses to the challenges of social mobility. It will launch formally on 18 July at Chartered Accountants' Hall. ICAEW is a founding member alongside other UK professional accountancy bodies and the Bar Council, Law Society and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, whose former chief executive Louis Armstrong is chairman of P4G's steering group.
