Relationship of Roll Sizes to Product Length and Weight

The ability to relate roll size to weight and length of product is of considerable importance to all manufacturers of rolled products, including paper and sheet metal in addition to textiles. Such information assists production and shipping personnel in meeting certain customer order requests. A simple set of formulas describing these relationships has been derived.
