Editorial Comment: Selected Proceedings from the Society of Military Orthopaedic Surgeons 2018 Annual Meeting

Since its formal incorporation and recognition by the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Society of Military Orthopaedic Surgeons (SOMOS) has provided a forum for the exchange of medical knowledge among all orthopaedic surgeons within the military. In addition, SOMOS supports an annual scientific meeting that allows for open presentation of ongoing research related to the care of military members, dependents, and retirees [3].
