Lung cancer is the most common cancer in 2020, accounting for 25% of all cancer‐related deaths in the world.1 China is one of the top 20 countries with the highest incidence and mortality of lung cancer.2 The main subtype of lung cancer is non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). With the development of various treatments, the clinical outcome of NSCLC has been significantly improved; however, the prognosis of advanced NSCLC is still poor.3 Increasing evidence suggests that immunotherapy is a promising therapeutic strategy for advanced NSCLC.4 The efficacy of immunotherapy mainly depends on the characteristics of the tumor microenvironment.5 Identification and structural characterization of tumor microenvironment landscape and the interactions between different cell types is a key step to improve the efficacy of tumor immunotherapy.
